Polimark, the market leading ketchup producer in the region, enriched its range of products with two new unique tomato sauce flavours – Classic and Mediterano. Mediterano sauce includes the flavours of basil, oregano and thyme. Polimark tomato sauce is very rich and of high quality, with it's thickness making meal preparation faster and easier. It can be used immediately with no extra cooking, as 1kg of sauce contains about 2kg of tomatoes. These new products are packed in practical bags with a screw-cap plug, known as a "doypack", which makes using, measuring,and storage easier, as well as multiple usage of the product. .
Tomato sauce contains large amounts of likopene, making it a healthy food. Likopene is a vegetable pigment that gives tomatoes their characteristic flavour and red color. Tomato sauce contains much more likopene than fresh tomatoes and is highly recommended for those who are exposed to physical and mental stress.
